Admin-entered and verified content

Visa requirements, safety advisories, embassy details, cost estimates, relocation guides, and similar structured content are entered and maintained by our team through the admin system. Each record carries a verification status (Draft, Unverified, Under Review, Verified, Expired, or Archived) and, where verified, a last-verified date and source. Records that haven't been reviewed recently are flagged as such rather than presented as current.

Live third-party data

• Geoapify — nearby places (hospitals, police, hotels, etc.) and address lookup on the Interactive Tourist Map and Emergency Centre.
• Open-Meteo — weather data used for packing suggestions.
• ExchangeRate-API — currency conversion rates.

These are fetched live from the provider, cached briefly to reduce load, and never presented as our own claim — a stale or fallback rate is always labelled as such where shown.

What we don't do

We don't present AI-generated or unverified guesses as verified fact, and we don't label something "official" unless it links to an actual government, embassy, or consulate source.
